| NJ Transit mechanical department employees set up this interesting display for "MMC Family Day". One of every common locomotive type found on the NJT roster was on hand in the engine shop, with 4009 representing the PL42ACs and 4658 representing the ALP-46 electrics. The floor display includes such hardware as (from left to right) a wheelset / traction motor assembly from an ALP electric, a CAT 3406 head end power unit and the main generator from a PL42 diesel. |
