STEAM THRU THE ADIRONDACKS and along the Hudson. In prep for this weekends revenue runs on Saturday and Sunday, Saratoga & North Creek ran a test run of the Leviathan and its coach on Tuesday evening, running from Corinth to North Creek. The yellow coach is still in the process of being painted. When complete, it will be painted in authentic 1880's Adirondack Railway colors. Prior to the D&H purchasing this line in the late 1800's, the Adirondack Railway rostered a fleet of five 4-4-0's similar to the Leviathan. Three of these were built by the nearby Schenectady Locomotive Works which later became Alco. So this engine is historically accurate for this line, most closely matching up in design with Adirondack Railway #2 and #3.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
