Remarks & Notes
Extra 242C East crosses the Fort Worth & Denver as it leaves Lubbock with mixed freight on April 11, 1964. The train is pictured coming off the north main onto single track. The FW&D line ran from the south side of Lubbock northeast to Estelline, Texas, where it connected with FW&D's main line between Amarillo and Fort Worth. The 242C was rebuilt into CF7 2570 in May 1973.
