Remarks & Notes
A warbonnet on the Coast Sub. As strange as that sounds, a warbonnet led the Coast Starlight through the land of the SP Daylights on September 9. The warbonnet made the trip on the point all the way from Seattle to Los Angeles to the delight of railfans along the route. This was quite a rare moment, and it could be many years before another warbonnet pounds these rails. The StarBonnet is seen passing over the levees in Alviso at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay. Thankfully, the wind calmed minutes before the StarBonnet passed through, allowing for a nice morning reflection.
