Remarks & Notes
A pair of GP35's and a RS-2 sits just outside the locomotive shop in Owosso, MI. By 1991, almost all of the existing roster of GP35's had been painted over to either black and yellow or blue and yellow. Currently, 389 is being parted out to help keep the remaining roster of GP35's by current owner Great Lakes Central running, 466 was sold to the Michigan Southern, and 385 is currently undergoing heavy repairs after striking a semi in Kalkaska, MI. last August. 35mm slide from my collection, photographer unknown.

There are times when many engines, cars or cabooses are concentrated in a location. Such sites are for storage, economic reasons, active power needs or for rebuilding. For others, wear and tear have brought their usefulness to and end.
