| Patches of sunlight fall on all the wrong places as the Saratoga & North Creek Railway's Leviathan Special drifts southbound past the station at the 1000 Acres Ranch Resort in pretty Stony Creek, New York. Our forecast was for a mostly sunny day and that pretty much worked out until the train left North Creek for Corinth. After that, we were teased constantly by bright sunshine that seemed to appear just about everywhere but where the train was. Fortunately, the sun did treat us kindly just one more time this day....just a few miles south of here at the Sacandaga Bridge at Hadley. |
