A german regional train is on the ride to Bamberg, Bavaria (Upper Franconia) through the area of Thuringian Slate Mountains near Saalfeld, Thuringia. The cars of this train are known as "n-wagon" and were built in West Germany between 1959 and 1980. Currently they are gradually replaced all over Germany by new vehicles.
