Two of BNSF's rarest locomotives sit together in the San Bernardino engine facility: PR30C 1320 (one of four Progress Rail-built PR30Cs on the railroad, with only two of them painted in full BNSF colors) and 3GS21C-DE 1310 (one of two NRE-built 3GS21C-DE owned by BNSF). 1320 was constructed from Soo Line SD40-2 763 (and was numbered PRLX 3002 before being sold to BNSF), while 1310 was constructed in Paducah, Kentucky, from BNSF SD45-2 6482, which was formerly Santa Fe 5832, originally ATSF 5696.
