The last sunset for the Northlander. This last run on September 28, 2012, marked the end of an era for Ontario railfans. A year later and it's hard to believe how much I had relied on this daily (except Saturday) train for a daily "pre-dinner" photo fix. This pic is taken literally moments before the sun set on the Northlander once and for all. I had hoped for a pic with a better angle at Warden Avenue crossing, but with the daylight disappearing, I knew my only clean shot would be at Quaker, and got there just in time.
