The Great Circus train slowly heads east through Pewaukee, Wisconsin, over the former Milwaukee Road main line on July 6, 1993. Hundreds of spectators lined the tracks to view the 27-car train of historic wooden circus wagons headed to Milwaukee for the then annual Great Circus Parade. Carrying the markers of the colorful train is former Chicago and North Western caboose, CWMX No. 21. Circus World Museum at Baraboo, Wisc., is home to the World’s largest collection of intricately carved and beautifully restored circus wagons.
