Remarks & Notes
LMS Coronation or Duchess class loco. Duchess of Hamilton in the Great Hall of The National Railway Museum York. The Museum was originally a loco shed, and was converted to the NRM in the 1970's and opened in 1975. The original layout had two turntables, the one that remains being a 70 foot, one and is often used for demonstrations. The other one was a bit smaller, and was removed some time ago. I believe it is in use on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, but don't quote me on this!
