Remarks & Notes
A Montana Rail Link ballast train departs Logan, Montana, on the morning of October 1, 2013, for a trip up the Fifth Subdivision. The train is headed for Pipestone for loading, pulled by two of MRL’s SD40s (Rebuilt and labeled SD40-2XR), Nos. 264 and 260, both in the current paint scheme. In the background is the Second Subdivision main line bridge over the Gallatin River.
