The brand new yard is being built for the Superior Silica sand plant located at Poskin, Wisconsin. Now Canadian National, this line used to be operated by the Soo Line railroad and then by the Wisconsin Central. The Wisconsin Northern use to lease this line up to Barron which is just east of here. I haven't been to area since the construction of this sand plant so I am not aware what they ended up doing here. They may have redid the road crossing and extended the track or that may be the new end of line.
