Remarks & Notes

One of the Rio Grande's hidden treasures is the scenic Pleasant Valley Branch running 18.3 miles between Colton and the Skyline coal loader near Clear Creek. An Intermountain Power coal empty with a trio of new UP SD60Ms zigs and zags along scenic Scofield Reservoir on a spectacular September morning in 1989.
