Remarks & Notes |
A four-pack of Bessemer's finest bring a lengthy string of empty ore cars north across the Allegheny River Bridge. Arguably one of the most impressive railroad structures in the eastern U.S, the bridge was constructed in 1897 and further improved in 1918 to its current structure. Leading the way is BLE 866, one of only three SD38-variants remaining active on the Bessemer. |
