| The Trona Turn at Mormon Rocks - A Los Angeles bound Potash train from Seales Dry Lake in Trona California rounds the bend at the Mormon Rocks in the Cajon Pass as it glides down the hill on the former Southern Pacific Palmdale Cutoff. Later that day, I would watch the return train heading up the hill with empty covered hoppers for interchange with the Trona RR. |
