| Reading and Northern's "Jeddo Job" rolls over the saw-tooth profile of the C&H Running Track enroute to Tamaqua. The JEQA-13 has Reading and Northern SD40-2's #3051 and #3057 along with SD50M #5049 for power. The three big EMD's are lugging 42 loads of Anthracite for Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium. The coal is bound for the Kinder Morgan facility in Fairless Hills, PA, where it will be unloaded. Its final destination is the Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium facility in Quebec, Canada.
The JEQA-13 is passing Eckley Junction (Milepost 21.63). The Eckley Branch is slightly visible on the right side of the train. This trackage was once owned and operated by the Lehigh Valley Railroad. |
