A former BNSF unit, now lettered for and owned by the Providence & Worcester, is on the point, albeit briefly, of an empty coal train in Bow, N.H., on Pan Am rails. The P&W power set brought a limestone train to the nearby Bow power plant earlier in the day. The crew dropped the limestone train at the plant and used the P&W power to pull an empty, unloaded coal train into the clear. The crew continued with P&W power to Perini Siding, where NS power was waiting. Here, the crew attaches the NS power to the coal train before leaving the P&W power on the siding. Eventually, the crew continued south on the empty coal train, with NS power on the point.
