As light rain begins to fall, Amtrak 71 leads the AAPRCO "Napa Valley Limited" across the Clear Creek Trestle near Keddie, California. After leaving Klamath Falls at 6:00am, this train trailed a BNSF manifest down the Gateway Subdivision to Keddie. From here the train will receive a fresh crew that will take it down the Canyon and towards its final destination at Napa. The Clear Creek Trestle provides an excellent view for both passengers and photographers.
The Napa Valley Limited was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The train was in conjunction with the annual convention in 2013.
