Remarks & Notes |
The "Prussian T3" type of locomotive is a construction for branch lines, which was developed by the Prussian State Railways. It was built in large numbers for the state railway, but also for many private branch lines throughout Germany. The T3 is considered to be a simple and a very robust machine. The #30 from the Kandertalbahn has spent her entire life on private branch lines. Currently this locomotive is receiving a major overhaul in the Kandern workshop. The Kandertalbahn is a touristic railway line located in south west Germany and operating between Haltingen and Kandern. |
