TFM 1623 seems to have borne the brunt of the damage from a low speed, head on collision that occurred on the Union Pacific "Rabbit Line" in Keithville, Louisiana (12/30/13). A siding switch was left open as a CXS powered general freight and a TFM/BNSF powered coal unit train passed in Keithville (20 miles south of Shreveport) and the lead units struck head on. This locomotive was damaged by cars derailing on the coal unit train. One crew member was hospitalized with minor injuries.
