Indiana Rail Road on CSX in a January monsoon... The previous Saturday the INRD 9002 trailed on CSX into Selkirk in double digit below zero wind chills. But one week later it leads a short 16 car local up the CSX River Sub with temps in the mid 50's, fog, pouring rain, and even thunder and lightning. DME 6370 trails. Due to mechanical issues these units were set off the ethanol train at CP-33 on the CSX River Sub and spent the week there, returning NB to Selkirk on January 10th to Kingston and January 11th to Selkirk. The pair would go back to CP at the Port of Albany later in the day.
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
