| A northbound BNSF taconite train holds the siding at Chub Lake which is just outside the small town of Carlton, MN (pop. 862) on the BNSF Lakes Sub. On the other side of this small town is the location where the construction of the Northern Pacific Railroad commenced on February 15th 1870. |
