Remarks & Notes
Milwaukee Road Baldwin 562 cools off in minus 22 degree weather and ice fog at Pigs Eye. This AS-616 began life in April 1951 as one of two AS-616B B units (No. 2100-B). It was rebuilt with a cab and numbered 2102 before becoming 562. These Baldwins could be found around the Twin Cities in heavy transfer service and handling the Ford line from Pigs Eye to the Ford plant which had quite a grade.
