| "Local" intermodal P99 takes train 218 the rest of the way from Chicago to Charlotte, though the "official" terminus is Linwood. The shadows are beginning to get long as the sun sets on this fairly isolated portion of the Piedmont Division. The Rocky Ridge signals are a hundred feet or so in front of the train, and this is the location where the signal bridge at the NCTM used to stand. |
