| 2014 is the year real winter weather returned to the Northeastern US. During its final hours, this latest storm changed to ice and freezing rain in central and northern New Jersey. A break in the rain revealed this frosty landscape as NS 212 rolled through Piscataway. The nose of NS 8916 is encased in ice and it appears the unit did battle with a fallen tree, part of which is still wedged behind the plow. The unit lost a ditch light during the altercation, but seems otherwise unharmed. |
