A single evening of lowland snow has brought 2-3 inches of the white stuff to the Puget Sound. By the time this military train's crew change was complete at Nisqually, both the light and the snow were fading. A light rain is already falling as the train creeps at less than 10mph up the Lakeview branch (former NP Prairie line) towards the highspeed Sounder tracks in Lakewood and a reverse move into Ft Lewis (JBLM).
