Remarks & Notes
The Saratoga & North Creek Railway has had some issues with locomotive power leading to them borrowing an engine from Pan Am. Unfortunately, the crews ran into trouble with this unit on the previous day and as a result were not too impressed with this substitute. As a result today's snow trains to Gore Mountain were cancelled. Today, with issues resolved, the crew makes a deadhead move from Saratoga to North creek with the train and SNC's newest addition to the fleet, a former Bangor & Aroostook Railroad EMD BL2 built in 1949. The MRLX 56 will join SNC 52 as the second BL2 in service on the railway in the coming months.

An assortment of photos of the distinctly unique (and 'cute') little locomotive EMD ever built, the BL2! I understand it also makes a tasty sandwich..Oh, that's a BLT! (When a new BL2 photo is "ordered", it will be served fresh!)
