On February 18 and 19 the Morristown & Erie Railway borrowed NS power to help clear Morris County owned trackage from ice and snow. NS 3360 and 3010 are attempting to buck heavy snow drifts near the North Salem Street crossing, along the D&R Branch, in Dover. The railroad brought in a front-end loader to assist in the cleanup efforts. The 3360, an SD40-2, is probably the first six axle locomotive to ever traverse the former CNJ RR D&R Branch..
