Remarks & Notes |
Canadian Pacific SD40-2 #6034 bursts out of the Detroit River tunnel in a cloud of exhaust with an eastbound freight from the U.S. at Windsor, ON. This tunnel, a remarkable engineering achievement linking Detroit & Windsor under the Detroit river, was opened in 1910 for New York Central / Michigan Central subsidiary Canada Southern and is today operated by Canadian Pacific.
