Already dropping the afternoon, the electric locomotive GE BoxCab and Soquimich train skirts the abyss of the "Cerro La Cruz" (cross hill) in Barriles gorge, beginning to go down to the urban area of Tocopilla. In the background you can see both the railroad when going down to the city, after the Reverso passing loop, and further back the railroad when it came to the urban area and go to the hill side, to the Soquimich private harbour, in Tocopilla.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
