Remarks & Notes
The smallest standard gauge 4-6-2 ever built, by Baldwin in 1911, was for the Little River RR in Townsend, Tenn. It served the Smoky Mountain RR for a number of years, and was restored in 1975 to work on today’s Little River RR between Coldwater and Quincy, Mich., 12 miles north of the Indiana state line. This photo at Knoxville, Tenn. was shot on May 1, 1954, and the right of way to the right and elevated was the L&N.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
