| This trip was one of very few ever run on the A&R. An NRHS chapter well west of here (I don't remember which.) brought in three very cobbled-up old passenger cars and did quite well in ticket sales. Here the train is westbound at the old Burlington Industries textile plant, already a victim of the decline & fall of American manufacturing. |
