| Following another nearly two feet of snowfall on much of the higher elevations of the Green Mountain Railroad's Bellows Falls Subdivision, VRS dispatched its 101-year-old ex-Canadian Pacific plow for the third time in 2014 to handle some snow moving. The March 13 run was full of frustration as several minor derailments were incurred by ice-filled grade crossings. The crew is busy using a rerailer under the plow to get the wheels of the front truck back on the rails so the plow can continue its eastbound journey to Bellows Falls. |
