Back before Northern Maine Junction was closed as a "station" for Pan Am, a local was based there that would switch local businesses and make runs to Old Town, Maine. Returning from one such trip on March 10, 2012, high hood 382 had control of a short string of boxes. Cresting the grade in Veazie, 382 found some welcomed late Winter sun. Within a year, Pan Am's base office in the old Bangor & Aroostook building at NMJ was cleared out, vacated, and locked up tight. The local would then be given an Old Town(OT) symbol with its crew reporting there as a habit.
