| The Retro Roast and Fountain in Loretto, Minnesota, opened alongside the ex-Soo Line tracks in 2003 and quickly became a favorite place for train crews to stop for a wrap or classic soda pop (it closed in 2008). The folks that ran the place were always friendly to West Side crews. That's owner Heidi Rosati waving to the crew aboard CP 8523, which is departing Loretto Siding after meeting a westbound train. |
