It's that time of year again - as of the beginning of spring, the sun has begun to swing around enough to allow for well-lit northbound shots in the evenings north of Gainesville. My first capture of this is train 238, leaning into the southern portion of the s-curve just south of Red Lane, where the train will converge onto the single track. A standard cab SD60 is leading the train this evening, and considering the dwindling numbers do to the SD60E program, this is becoming a rarer sight on the Piedmont Division.
