| Engineer Tim sends a wave to a couple of fans waiting for his empty rail train at Wells Viaduct, where the Piedmont mainline crosses over the North Fork of the Broad River. The veteran high hood EMD in the lead was great reminder of the past as Southern's high short hood GP38-2s were once a common sight on this line. |
