Remarks & Notes |
Norfolk Southern to the rescue; in Utah! Union Pacific's daily manifest train, the MRONY, on the Provo Sub. stalled on the 2% grade between Gilluly and Soldier Summit not far west of the summit of the grade. I heard on the radio the DS and train crew talking about motive power problems. A set of helper power was called at Helper yard at the eastern foot of the grade and set out for Summit to help the stalled MRONY over the top. It is pictured here exiting the horseshoe curve between Lynn and Kyune. |
