Regular industrial working steam in 2014! Ex South African Railways Class 19D (4-8-2), No. 2767, now Saiccor No.3, starts her roll forward, desperately trying to avoid any excessive wheel slip, with 11 fully loaded timber wagons for the short haul up to the mill (about 2 kilometres away). Built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn for the South African Railways in 1945, No. 2767 is one of three Class 19D locomotives owned by Saiccor - although only two of the three remain in service in 2014. TFR (Transnet Freight Rail) drop the timber loads off in the Exchange Yard and the Saiccor locomotives then work the timber up to the mill and bring the empty wagons back to the Exchange Yard for TFR to collect.
