| NS 310 heads over Rock River trestle as it continues on it's trip east to Buffalo. After the Conrail merger, the bulk of the NS traffic out of Bellevue would take the connection to the Chicago Line at Vermilion. Thus traffic levels on this section of the line dwindled to just a couple of trains a day. Having a morning eastbound is pretty rare. |
