General San Martín's ALCo.-MLW RSD35 #6465 pulls Number 573 "El Sanrafaelino" away from the Monte Comán station, on its way to complete the final leg of the overnight run from Buenos Aires (Retiro) to San Rafael, in the southern part of the Province of Mendoza. Route of 573 left the Mendoza mainline at Chacabuco, reaching Monte Comán via the dusty secondary line through Huinca Renancó and a bunch of small tows along the southern part of San Luis and Mendoza provinces. Consist includes air-conditioned chair car ("Pullman" in Argentina´s parlance) and diner, plus four non air-conditioned coaches of two different classes.
