| A thunderstorm passes to the south as a pair of Union Pacific MP20GPs bring a transfer job into Settegast Yard. The train is passing under the very busy Englewood Yard hump and is also about to cross the Sunset Route at grade within the Tower 87 interlocking limits. The MP20GP is a unique model on UPs roster and the fleet is primarily assigned to the Houston area. MPI rebuilt these units in 2006 from former Missouri Pacific GP50s and they now feature low-emission (Tier 2 compliant) Caterpillar 3516C diesel engines. UPY 2100 is former MP 3514. |
