Remarks & Notes |
Friends of the Rail's class 19D 4-8-2 with 6-axle Vanderbilt tender, is hauling a short mixed train south of Cullinan, recreating a scene that would have been seen regularly on various branch lines around South Africa 40 or 50 years ago. The empty type DZ wagon may have brought farming equipment to the village, the silver milk wagon would have carried milk from the farms to the nearest town and the passenger coach would have provided transport for the locals. |
