A few miles east of Lawrence, KS on the UP Kansas Sub, the late afternoon light just seemed to 'pop' on the scene in front of me while I waited on the westbound parade to arrive. The farmhouse in the back was along the ROW of the now abandoned Kansas City, Kaw Vally & Western interurban.
