| "Crocodile" HGe 4/4 # 15 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGB) (former Visp-Zermatt-Bahn VZ) from 1929 is not familiar in Oberwald, because this is former Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) territory. The locomotive with baggage compartment came to this station to pull the fire extinguish train to Brig, following a steam train with HG 3/4 # 9 of the DFB. The yellow track maintenance machines are not part of the train, but stored there for night work. |
