Two Class 6E1 units, headed by E1584, leave Bayhead (the biggest and busiest yard in Durban), for the short run back to their depot at Wentworth, having just cut off their load. E1584, has subsequent to this photo being taken at the beginning of 2011, been put through the Class 6E1 / Class 18E upgrade program (during 2013) and is now reclassified Class 18E Series 2, 18-756.
