Remarks & Notes |
An eastbound Canadian Pacific stack train rolls past what's left of elevator row at Gull Lake, Saskatchewan. Just out of the frame to the left is a Pioneer elevator, and the train is passing elevators from Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and United Grain Growers. The "B" indicates that there was at least one more Pool elevator here at one time. In the distance is a high through-put (HTP) elevator; the HTP's killed off the wooden elevators. Time has not been kind to even this remnant of Gull Lake's elevator row, as the Pool elevator is now gone. |
