| Stormy skies loom as the California Zephyr sits stopped in emergency after coming close to striking two trespassers walking down the tracks. An employee guards the open door from which the conductor exited to inspect the train to ensure nobody was hit and the equipment is in good order to continue the trip. Sadly, someone on average is hit every three hours by a train in North America. This time was a bit too close for comfort. |
