Remarks & Notes |
Its been three years since the Sequatchie Valley Railroad finish scrapping the rest of there older fleet, and only one out of two switcher miss the cutting torch. Walking Horse & Eastern 1186 started it career in 1952 on the New York Central railroad, and seen various changes in the railroad from the Penn Central to Conrail. Later on this sw9 move from working at a class one railroad to a short line railroad. Today the WHOE 1186 was donated to the City of Bridgeport to be on display at Bridgeport Area Historical Museum in Bridgeport, AL so a little light shine on this 52 year old locomotive like it was today as it set silently on the stub end track on the Sequatchie Valley Railroad. |
